Wujiang Export Processing Zone (WEPZ) was approved by the State Council on June 3rd, 2005, with a planned area of 1 sq.km. It was certified by the General Administration of Customs and seven other ministries for operation on December 12th, 2006.
High standard infrastructure has been prepared in WEPZ. The WEPZ Administrative Bureau, the Customs, the Commodity Inspection Bureau, bank, customs declaration agencies, forwarders etc. offer one-stop services. Information technology is utilized to realize online customs declaration, online inspection and quarantine declaration.
